Welcome to the
Kron PAM
system security settings screen.
It is designed to help you change all the passwords and some of the particular configurations used in the system for a clean start. We need you to fill form based on the requirements for each.

Set a Hostname
Hostname should be max 63 charachters for the compatibility and can consist of 0-9, a-z, A-Z, - (dash), and . (dot). You may prefer to use FQDN to set hostname.
Set an Instance Name
The instance name, restricted to 63 characters, must solely consist of alphanumeric characters, hyphens, and dots for compatibility purposes.

Set the Database password
The password should be between 16 and 22 characters in length and can consist of 0-9, a-z, and A-Z.
Set the pamuser (OS user) password
The password should be between 16 and 22 characters in length and can consist of 0-9, a-z, and A-Z.
Set the admin (GUI admin user) password
The password should be between 8 and 16 characters in length and can consist of 0-9, a-z, and A-Z.
Set the scon (PAM CLI user) password
The password should be between 16 and 22 characters in length and can consist of 0-9, a-z, and A-Z.
Allow root SSH access?
You can access the server with the root user over the SSH when you set it to YES.
WARNING:
We recommend to keep it as NO unless you know what you are doing! If you change it to YES please be sure that you change it and disable the root access over SSH in SSH config after you have done your work!

Security Keys
Set the Customer Key
Customer Key should be 32 characters in length at least and can consist of 0-9 a-z and A-Z.
Customer Key will be used to encrypt all sensitive data in the whole platform.
IMPORTANT:
Please be sure that you have copied the security.properties file from the master/first nod if you are installing a redundant system!
WARNING:
Do not lose your key! You will need it for disaster recovery situations in the future!
Set the Key Store password
Key Store should be between 8 and 16 characters in length and can consist of 0-9, a-z, and A-Z!
Key Store will be used during the generation of self-signed signature. It is the key for the certificate store.
Set the TACACS Key
TACACS Key should be between 8 and 16 characters in length and can consist of 0-9, a-z, and A-Z!
The TACACS Key will be used as the default secret key for the TACACS server It will be the key between the device and the TACACS servers.
Set the Iteration Count
The iteration count can be between 10000 and 11111 (Recommend value 10044).
The iteration count is used by the system for the derivation of the keys.
WARNING:
Higher iteration values can take more time and CPU usage during the decryption than the lower ones!
